The ColorCaps version of the CAD drawing is stored in a file with a ".cc.png" extension. The file contains two things: a PNG thumbnail and the drawing itself stored as custom data. The .cc part of the extension differentiates ColorCaps drawing files from ordinary PNG image files.
When you open a ColorCaps drawing file, navigate to the directory and then select Thumbnails from the Open Dialog View Options:

Use File\Save As when you want to save a drawing with a new name. It's easy to create a series of drawing versions because the file Save As dialog automatically adds an incremented dash number to the drawing name. -1,-2,-3,etc.
You can override the suggested name by typing in whatever name you want.

Layer files are almost identical to drawing files, and they have the same .cc.png extension. They have only one layer in them, whereas the drawing file can have many layers as well as information about the drawing size and background.

|
With a file dialog open, you can perform many file management tasks like renaming, file deletion, folder creation, moving files, copying files, etc.
Use the same methods available in Windows® Explorer.
