Try-for-free
The Try-for-Free copy and the purchased copy are the same, except the trial program prompts the user on the days remaining in the trial, stops working at the end of the trial, and adds a faint watermark to prints and exports.
You can purchase your copy at any time and you will receive a product key. An expired Try-for-Free program will prompt you for the key when it starts. Enter the key. Or use the Help menu for key entry. ColorCaps will recognize the key and know that the program is a purchased copy. The purchased copy has no expiration.
The key applies to all future ColorCaps 2.x updates. To update your version, uninstall ColorCaps and download the latest version (from the download page). It will install, leaving all your work files intact, and will recognize your key.
As is typical with software distribution, ColorCap Software retains ownership of the program itself, but authorizes the use of the purchased copy of the executable. See the license agreement in the installer.
Version Information
The version of your copy of ColorCaps can be seen by choosing Help/About ColorCaps. The version of the latest installer is found at the bottom of the download page for ColorCaps.
